Deidra Strickland

Deidra Strickland is a federal agent. Prior to becoming a federal employee, Deidra served as a police officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, as well as a special agent and special agent supervisor with the State of Florida. For her outstanding efforts, she was honored as the State Law Enforcement Leader of the Year by the State Law Enforcement Chiefs’ Association (SLECA) and as North Florida Member of the Year by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE). As a NOBLE board member Deidra represented the chapter at meetings with various U.S. stakeholders to work on efforts to bridge trust between law enforcement and local communities. She was honored as a 40 Gators Under 40 awardee from the University of Florida and is currently an active member of the NOBLE Houston chapter. Deidra gave the keynote address to an audience of 6,500+ at the University of Florida’s convocation ceremony.
